The 27-year-old has struggled with a set of injuries that have kept him sidelined for long stretches, limiting his impact on the pitch.

His latest setback occurred in Tottenham’s 4-1 win over Aston Villa earlier this month, when his hamstring gave way as he assisted Dominic Solanke.

Devastated by the injury, Richarlison took to social media, asking fans to “pray for him” as he faced yet another painful setback.

While Tottenham have yet to provide an official recovery timeline, experts suggest the damage is significant.

Injury specialist Dr Rajpal Brar estimates that Richarlison has sustained a grade three or four hamstring injury, which could keep him out for months.

Speaking to Tottenham News, he said: “This sounds like a Grade 3 or 4 hamstring injury which would mean months away. Unfortunately, he looks to be caught in a brutal injury cycle at the moment.”

With the forward now facing another extended period of rehabilitation, Spurs manager Ange Postecoglou may look to the January transfer window for reinforcements.

Tottenham’s need for a reliable striker is pressing, and Richarlison’s struggles could signal the end of his time at North London if the club chooses to invest in a new forward.
