Whatever the outcome of Leicester City’s season — whether they pull off an unlikely escape or slide into League One — a summer of significant change awaits at the King Power Stadium.
A wide-ranging clearout feels inevitable. Patson Daka is expected to depart, with the Zambian forward approaching the end of his contract, while others who have underperformed during the relegation battle could follow.

At the same time, there is growing concern that some of the club’s brightest young prospects will attract serious interest, with Jeremy Monga already the subject of mounting attention.
Monga, still just 16, has remarkably made 35 senior appearances and contributed a goal and two assists in a struggling side.
He has handled the step up admirably, but his future appears increasingly likely to lie elsewhere. Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United are all reportedly monitoring his situation, while Borussia Dortmund are keen to add another English prospect to their ranks.
He may not be the only academy product to move on. Leicester’s youth system is brimming with attacking talent.
Lorenz Hutchinson has struck 20 goals across youth levels this season, while Logan Briggs and Amani Richards have also posted impressive numbers.
Leicester would prefer to retain such promise, yet financial pressures and external interest may force difficult decisions in the months ahead.
