Leicester City are set to travel to Fratton Park on Saturday for what is shaping up to be a defining afternoon in the Championship survival battle, with Gary Rowett facing a major selection concern over leading scorer Jordan James.
The Foxes arrive on the south coast five points adrift of safety, with the threat of a second successive relegation hanging heavily over the club.

By contrast, Pompey have given themselves breathing space with consecutive victories over Middlesbrough and Ipswich Town, lifting them four points clear of the bottom three.
Rowett had hoped James would play a part after the forward returned from injury as a late substitute in the 1-0 defeat to Swansea last weekend.
However, the 21-year-oldâs troublesome heel has flared up again, leaving him struggling to train in the build-up to the contest.
Speaking to Leicestershire Live, the Foxes boss said: âWeâve got a couple we need to monitor to see how they are.
âJJ is the main one. His heel has still been sore and problematic, which was why I didnât start him at the weekend. Thereâs every chance we might still be in that position on Saturday.â
Rowett may, however, be handed a timely boost with Aaron Ramsey back in training after a lengthy hamstring lay-off.
He said: âAaron Ramsey is back training and weâll assess whether we think heâs fit enough to be involved.âBut if players arenât quite ready, you canât start them.â
