The manager admitted there were mixed emotions following today’s away draw, insisting his side showed character but also acknowledging there were moments that could have been handled better.
After a tightly contested match, the boss praised the effort and commitment of his players, particularly in difficult spells where the opposition applied heavy pressure.

While satisfied to leave with a point, he made it clear there was also frustration in the dressing room at not taking all three.
“The lads showed great spirit today,” he said after the final whistle. “It’s never easy coming here and getting a result, but I thought we stayed organised and worked hard for each other.”
The visitors had opportunities to win the game, particularly in the second half, but were unable to make their chances count.
Despite that, the manager felt there were still positives to take from the performance as his side continue their push towards the end of the campaign.
“We had moments where our quality was really good,” he added. “At the same time, we know there are areas we must improve. The important thing is that the players kept fighting until the end.”
Attention now quickly turns to the next fixture, with the manager determined to build on the result and maintain momentum heading into another important week of the season.
