Former West Ham striker Michail Antonio has made his feelings clear regarding Jarrod Bowen’s future, insisting the England international should be playing at the highest level and that the club should not stand in the way if an opportunity arises.
Speaking about Bowen, Antonio highlighted the forward’s ability and argued that his talent is more than good enough for the Premier League.

The Hammers captain has been one of the club’s standout performers in recent seasons, earning praise for his consistency, leadership and attacking quality despite the challenges faced by the team.
Antonio believes Bowen has already shown he possesses the attributes required to succeed at the very top end of English football.
With speculation continuing to surround the winger’s long-term future, the former West Ham forward suggested the player deserves the chance to compete at the highest level available to him.
Discussing the situation, Antonio said:
“Let’s be real, it’s not difficult. Jarrod wants to play in the Premier League. He has the quality and the skills to play in the Premier League. He had the quality to be in a top-four club before them getting relegated. I don’t feel the club should stop him.”
The comments are likely to spark debate among supporters, many of whom regard Bowen as one of the most important figures at the club.
Since arriving from Hull City, the England international has developed into a key player and fan favourite.
Whether Bowen remains or seeks a new challenge, Antonio’s remarks underline the widespread belief that the forward’s quality belongs on the biggest stage.
