Unbelievable 😱😱: Jamie Vardy has just revealed the “Juju” cream Ndidi and Iheanacho used to recover from injuries at Leicester City That surprised everyone. Here’s the cream he revealed.

Jamie Vardy has revealed a light-hearted story from his time at Leicester City, claiming that former team-mates Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho relied on a traditional Nigerian remedy to help their recovery from injuries.

Speaking during a podcast appearance, the Foxes legend recalled how the pair would regularly use shea butter, commonly known in Nigeria as “Ori”, believing it helped ease muscle pain and speed up the healing process after knocks and strains.

Vardy’s comments offered a humorous glimpse into the dressing room culture at Leicester, where players from different backgrounds often introduced teammates to remedies and traditions from their home countries.

The striker explained that Ndidi and Iheanacho referred to the cream as “Juju”, joking about its effectiveness whenever they returned to training feeling refreshed.

He said: “Ndidi and Iheanacho used ‘Juju’ cream from Nigeria (shea butter/Ori) to recover from injuries back at Leicester.”

Shea butter has long been used across West Africa as a natural moisturiser and is also widely believed to help soothe sore muscles and reduce inflammation, although scientific evidence on its role in injury recovery remains limited.

Vardy’s anecdote quickly attracted attention online, with many supporters enjoying the story and recognising it as another example of the close bond shared within Leicester City’s dressing room during one of the club’s most successful eras.
