Leicester City’s preparations for the new campaign will continue this week with a training camp in southern Spain, where Russell Martin’s squad will step up their work ahead of the 2026/27 season.
After opening pre-season with a convincing 3-0 victory over Burton Albion, the Foxes are now heading overseas for the next phase of their summer schedule.
The warm-weather camp is expected to give the players the opportunity to build fitness, sharpen their tactical understanding and continue adapting to Martin’s style of play.
The squad will be based in Cádiz, with training sessions taking place throughout the week as the coaching staff look to raise the intensity ahead of the competitive campaign.
It also provides the club’s new signings with another chance to settle into the group and strengthen relationships with their teammates.
Supporters will be eager to see how the squad develops over the coming days, particularly after several encouraging performances in the opening friendly.
The camp is regarded as an important part of Leicester’s preparations, with plenty of work still to be done before the start of the League One season.

The trip will also include further pre-season fixtures, giving Martin another opportunity to assess his players, experiment with different combinations and continue shaping his preferred starting XI.
