Al Hilal remain confident they can complete deals for both Ollie Watkins and Gabriel Martinelli, with the Saudi Arabian giants continuing to push ahead with their ambitious plans as of tonight.
The club are understood to be working on both moves and believe there is still a realistic opportunity to bring the two Premier League attackers to Saudi Arabia.
Their interest in Watkins has been well established, while Martinelli has also emerged as a major target as Al Hilal look to strengthen their attacking options.
Watkins remains a key figure at Aston Villa and has attracted significant attention during the transfer window.
The England international’s pace, movement and goalscoring ability have made him an attractive option for Al Hilal, who are prepared to explore a deal despite the difficulty involved in convincing Villa to part with one of their leading forwards.

Martinelli, meanwhile, continues to be regarded as another priority target. The Brazilian winger’s experience at Arsenal and his ability to operate across the frontline are believed to have made him particularly appealing to the Saudi side.
There is still plenty of work to be done before either transfer can be considered close, but Al Hilal are refusing to back down.
As of tonight, confidence remains high within the Saudi club that they can land both Watkins and Martinelli, although negotiations could still prove complicated in the days ahead.
