Sevilla and Al Diriyah are reportedly interested in signing Aston Villa winger Leon Bailey as the summer transfer window enters its final days.
A loan move is currently considered the most likely outcome, although Villa could hand Bailey a new contract before allowing him to leave in order to protect his value.
The Jamaica international is entering the final year of his current deal, meaning Villa risk losing him for nothing next summer unless he secures a permanent move this window or agrees to a one-year extension.
Bailey was made available for transfer after a difficult loan spell at AS Roma last season. He struggled to establish himself as a regular starter in Italy before being recalled by Villa, and was subsequently left out of the squad for the club’s pre-season tour of the Far East.

The winger made only three Premier League starts last season, scoring once in 19 appearances across all competitions. His time at Roma was similarly frustrating, with limited opportunities preventing him from finding any real consistency.
Ahead of Monday night’s clash with Arsenal, Unai Emery was asked about Bailey’s situation.
“We were expecting him to leave,” Emery said when asked about the winger on Friday afternoon. “When we left for Asia, he was close to leaving, but he is still with us now.
“Hopefully he can get a good opportunity to leave and join another club and continue his career, and this is our objective.”
