Unbelievable 😱😱: Unai Emery has just revealed the two players who should leave the club and confirmed they will not be part of his plans this season. You won’t believe who he has asked to leave.

Aston Villa remain ‘keen’ to part ways with Leon Bailey, with the club potentially having more time to complete his departure than just Tuesday’s transfer deadline.

The Athletic’s Jacob Tanswell has revealed that contact has been made with two Saudi clubs regarding the Jamaican winger, who appears increasingly likely to leave Villa Park this summer.

Villa have undergone a major squad overhaul during the transfer window, bringing in 11 new players while sanctioning nine permanent departures.

Nicolas Jackson and Ibrahim Mbaye headline the arrivals, while Morgan Rogers, Ezri Konsa and Ollie Watkins are among the high-profile exits.

However, the reshaping of Unai Emery’s squad may not be finished yet, with Bailey still expected to move on.

Tanswell reports that Saudi sides Al-Ittihad and Diriyah Club are exploring a deal for the 28-year-old. Bailey was previously close to joining Hull City, but the move collapsed after the two parties failed to agree personal terms.

With the Saudi transfer window remaining open until September 6, there is still time for Villa to find a solution.

Emery has already made it clear that Bailey is not part of his plans.

“We were expecting him to leave, and it still is the same.

“When we decided we were going to the camp in Asia, he was close to leaving. But from there until now, he’s still with us here.

“Hopefully he can have one good opportunity to leave and continue his career, and this is our objective. But he’s still here with us.”
