Former West Ham striker Michail Antonio has been found guilty of failing to identify the driver of his Lamborghini supercar after it was suspected of being involved in a motoring offence in central London.
Antonio appeared before a Magistrates’ Court, where the former England international insisted that he was not behind the wheel of the vehicle on the night in question.
The case centred on Antonioโs responsibility to provide information about who was driving his Lamborghini when the alleged offence took place.
Despite maintaining that he was not the driver, the court found him guilty of failing to identify the person responsible.
Antonio, who spent several years as one of West Hamโs leading forwards, has previously faced a number of challenges away from the pitch.
The latest case now adds another legal issue to his list following his playing career in east London.

The former striker was a key figure for West Ham during his time at the club, becoming one of their most recognisable players and playing an important role in their attacking ranks.
However, his latest court appearance has put the spotlight away from football and on an incident involving his luxury vehicle.
Antonio told Magistrates’ Court he was not the driver that night.
The courtโs decision means Antonio has been found guilty of the specific offence relating to his failure to identify the driver. Further details surrounding any potential punishment are expected to follow.
