🚨😱 BOMBSHELL AT LEICESTER CITY! Russell Martin DEFENDS His Football Style by COMPARING His Work to Enzo Maresca’s 96-Point Championship Campaign — But His UNBELIEVABLE Message to a Foxes Fan Has Left Everyone Talking!

Russell Martin has responded to criticism of his playing style following Leicester City’s 2-1 defeat to Stevenage in the Jersey Mike’s Trophy, insisting his side will win games and eventually win over supporters.

The Foxes boss has faced growing frustration from fans this season, with boos and chants heard during disappointing results against MK Dons, Oxford United and Stockport. Similar scenes followed at Barnsley before the international break.

Martin’s latest confrontation with a supporter outside the stadium on Tuesday night has since gone viral, attracting more than two million views on X at the time of writing.

During the exchange, a fan warned Martin he could lose his job if he continued playing the football the “owner wants”, referencing former manager Enzo Maresca.

Martin responded by highlighting Leicester’s 96-point Championship campaign under Maresca.

The 40-year-old also pointed to his team’s 135 shots across five matches as evidence of their attacking approach, although critics argue possession and chances mean little without victories.

Martin has faced similar criticism throughout his managerial career, particularly during his time at Southampton and Rangers. However, some supporters have defended him for confronting the criticism directly.

Leicester now face a crucial run of fixtures against struggling League One opposition, including Peterborough, Doncaster, Bromley and Wigan.

The upcoming matches present an opportunity to turn promising performances into results.

“We’ll win and when we win, it’ll be fun and you’ll enjoy it,” Martin said as he walked away.

The Leicester manager must now deliver on that promise, with promotion remaining the club’s priority.
