West Ham United manager Nuno Espirito Santo faces fresh questions over his team selection after the Hammers were held to a frustrating 1-1 draw by Queens Park Rangers on Friday night.
The result leaves West Ham three games without a win in all competitions, adding to the pressure on Nuno during an underwhelming spell.
Jarrod Bowen rescued a point by cancelling out Nicolas Madsen’s controversial penalty, but the captain missed a late spot-kick that could have secured victory for the hosts.
Nuno made two half-time substitutions, withdrawing Kyle Walker-Peters and Tomas Soucek for Pablo and Edvin Austbo. However, his decision to leave one midfielder out of the matchday squad has now raised serious questions about his future.
According to Spanish outlet AS, Edson Alvarez “appears forced to look for a new club” following another omission from the West Ham squad.
The report suggests the Mexico international “could start to reconsider his future” after being overlooked despite making himself available.

It adds that Alvarez “could begin to look for new destinations” ahead of the January transfer window.
The 28-year-old has made just one appearance this season, featuring against Portsmouth in the Carabao Cup.
Valencia are reportedly interested in Alvarez, with his former Mexico manager Javier Aguirre now in charge. Other LaLiga clubs have also been linked with the midfielder.
With his 29th birthday approaching, Alvarez should be entering his prime years. Instead, his future at West Ham looks increasingly uncertain under Nuno.
