Tension in Leicester: Rowett Will Hate What Happened in Wales — The Latest Update on Jordan James That Frustrated Everyone

Leicester City are staring down the barrel of a desperate fight to preserve their Championship status, with the club languishing in the relegation zone at a pivotal stage of the season.

The Foxes sit 22nd in the table, their situation made all the more precarious by a six-point deduction that has left them with precious little margin for error heading into the final seven fixtures of the campaign.

For supporters who have grown accustomed to Premier League nights, the current plight feels a world away from those recent highs.

Results, quite simply, have not been good enough. Gary Rowett’s side have managed just one win in their last 13 league outings, a run that has dragged them firmly into trouble despite the presence of a squad that, on paper, should be capable of far more.

Amid the gloom, Jordan James has offered a rare bright spark. The midfielder, on loan from Rennes, has contributed ten goals and four assists in all competitions, underlining his importance to Leicester’s survival bid.

However, concern has now emerged following his involvement with Wales. James was forced off during their World Cup qualifying play-off against Bosnia & Herzegovina after a challenge on Amar Mecic, with fears raised over a potential Achilles issue.

With Wales eventually beaten, Leicester are left anxiously awaiting further news on a player they can ill afford to lose.
