West Ham United are determined to keep hold of captain Jarrod Bowen despite growing interest from several Premier League clubs following the club’s relegation to the Championship.

Manchester United are among the sides reportedly monitoring the England international, whose future has inevitably become a topic of discussion after West Ham’s disappointing campaign.

Bowen remains under contract until 2030 and has established himself as one of the club’s most influential players since arriving from Hull City six-and-a-half years ago.

While West Ham are understood to be facing significant financial pressure after relegation, the club’s stance on Bowen appears clear.

Reports suggest the Hammers need to generate around £100 million through player sales, but there is confidence that other departures could satisfy those requirements without sacrificing their skipper.

According to The Sun, West Ham have informed interested clubs that Bowen is not a player they are looking to sell this summer. The report also states that his wages remain unchanged despite the drop into the second tier.

Bowen has already addressed speculation surrounding his future.

“I’m under contract here. I’ve been here six and a half years, I’ve had some really high moments, and this is a low moment that will outweigh everything.

“There’s going to be rumours, there’s going to be talk. Ultimately, what I see is getting this club back in the Premier League because that is where it deserves to be.”

His message was reinforced on social media, where he apologised to supporters and insisted the club belongs in the Premier League.
