West Ham United are planning for the new season with the expectation that a number of key first-team players will remain at the London Stadium despite ongoing transfer speculation.
Among those the club expect to keep are captain Jarrod Bowen, defender Dinos Mavropanos, midfielder Tomas Soucek, goalkeeper Mads Hermansen, forward Taty Castellanos and highly-rated youngster Malick Diouf. The sextet are all viewed as important parts of the squad heading into the upcoming campaign.

Bowen continues to be one of West Ham’s most influential figures and remains central to the club’s long-term plans.
The England international has attracted interest from elsewhere, but there is currently no indication that the Hammers are preparing for his departure.
Mavropanos is also expected to stay after establishing himself as a regular presence in defence, while Soucek remains a valued member of the midfield setup thanks to his experience and leadership qualities.
Further forward, Castellanos is anticipated to play a major role in attack next season. The striker is seen as an important option as West Ham look to strengthen their ambitions in the Championship and push for an immediate return to the Premier League.
Meanwhile, Hermansen is expected to continue as the club’s first-choice goalkeeper, while Diouf is regarded as one of the most exciting young talents at the club.
As things stand, West Ham’s expectation is clear: all six players will remain part of the squad for the season ahead.
