Leicester City have made their valuation of highly rated defender Ben Nelson clear after rejecting an approach from Italian side Torino during the summer transfer window.
The Foxes are understood to be demanding £10 million for the 21-year-old centre-back, signalling that they have no intention of allowing one of their brightest young prospects to leave on the cheap.
Interest in Nelson has continued to grow following his impressive development, with clubs across Europe monitoring his situation closely.
Torino recently tested Leicester’s resolve with an offer for the defender, but it fell well short of the club’s asking price and was swiftly turned down.
The Championship side remain firm in their stance, believing Nelson’s value will only increase as he continues to gain experience.
The England youth international has already attracted attention from Germany this summer.

Borussia Mönchengladbach also submitted a bid earlier in the transfer window, but Leicester rejected that approach as well, reinforcing their determination to protect one of the academy’s standout talents.
“Leicester want £10m for centre-back Ben Nelson after turning down an offer from Torino.”
“Nelson was also the subject of a bid from Borussia Mönchengladbach earlier in the window.”
Unless a club meets Leicester City’s valuation, the expectation is that Nelson will remain at the King Power Stadium and continue his development under Russell Martin ahead of the new campaign.
