Aston Villa remain keen to add another winger before Tuesday’s 11pm transfer deadline, despite agreeing a deal to sign PSG youngster Ibrahim Mbaye.
The Villans have reached an agreement worth around £47million for the highly-rated 18-year-old, but Unai Emery is still pushing the club to strengthen his attacking options further.
Sources have told Football Insider that Villa are exploring the winger market during the final hours of the window.
However, any potential deal must fit within the club’s financial restrictions under the Premier League’s SCR rules.

Villa have generated significant funds through the departures of Morgan Rogers and Ollie Watkins, while Nicolas Jackson has already arrived as Watkins’ replacement.
Despite those moves, Emery remains concerned about the depth and quality available in his forward line.
Villa endured a disappointing start to the campaign, losing to Brighton and Arsenal without registering a single shot on target.
Emery will be determined to avoid another slow beginning, particularly with Champions League football adding further demands to his squad.
Mbaye’s arrival is expected to provide another attacking option, but Emery wants greater depth before the deadline passes.
Villa have also been linked with Manchester United winger Amad Diallo. However, Football Insider reported on Monday that United have no intention of selling the 24-year-old, who remains part of Michael Carrick’s long-term plans despite currently being injured.
As a result, Diallo is unlikely to be the final winger Villa pursue.
