AdminRussell Martin has made several changes to his Leicester City side for today’s game, with the starting XI suggesting the manager could be switching to a different formation.
The Foxes have lined up with Alex McCarthy in goal, while O’Hora, Wout Faes and Thomas provide the defensive cover. Jayden Joseph and Alves are expected to offer width, with Oliver Lundstram, Louis Page and Kasey McAteer giving the midfield plenty of energy and creativity.
Liam Cullen and Emil Riis lead the attack, as Martin looks to find the right formula following a difficult spell of results.
The team selection represents another opportunity for several players to make an impression and potentially stake their claim for a regular place in the starting XI. Supporters will be particularly interested to see how the shape works once the match gets underway.
The Leicester City XI is: McCarthy; O’Hora, Souttar, Thomas; Joseph, Lundstram, Page, Braybrooke, Alves; Cullen, Riis.
Martin has also named a strong group of substitutes, including Ravizzoli, Aluko, Kangasniemi, Howell, Watson and Reid.
With Leicester desperate for a positive result, the tactical changes will be closely watched. The manager will be hoping the new approach can give the Foxes greater balance, attacking threat and, most importantly, a much-needed victory.
