Solomon revealed the scenes that followed West Ham’s second goal, admitting the celebrations with the supporters quickly turned into madness as the players and fans shared the moment together.
The winger also singled out Mavropanos for special praise, describing the Greece international as a “beast” and explaining the understanding they have developed when he gets into dangerous positions inside the penalty area.
Solomon said he already knows what Mavropanos wants whenever the defender attacks the box, making the decision to deliver the cross much easier. His latest contribution once again highlighted the importance of their connection in the final third.
Reflecting on the goal and the celebrations that followed, Solomon said:
“We were celebrating with them (the fans) and it was madness after our second! Dinos is a beast. Every time he’s in the box, I know he needs me to cross the ball. I’m happy I managed to give him a good ball. He was there and he did what he does best.”
