🚨😱 FINALLY! RUSSELL MARTIN MAKES A HUGE CALL — He Brings Leicester City Star BACK Into the Starting XI to Face Fulham! 🔥🦊

Leicester City begin their EFL Trophy campaign at the King Power Stadium on Tuesday night as they welcome Fulham Under-21s in their opening Southern Group B fixture.

The Foxes have named a side that combines first-team experience with emerging young talent, with Bobby De Cordova-Reid handed the captain’s armband.

The experienced forward will lead a team featuring several players looking to make an impression.

Franco Ravizzoli starts in goal, with Olabade Aluko, Warren O’Hora, Caleb Okoli and Luke Thomas forming the defensive line. In midfield, Sammy Braybrooke, Kamari Doyle and Will Alves will look to control the game and provide support in attack.

Up front, De Cordova-Reid is joined by Tommy Watson and Admir Bristrić as Leicester look to make a strong start to their group campaign.

The bench also provides Leicester with plenty of options, including Alex McCarthy, Wout Faes, Woyo Coulibaly, Lawrence, Tommy Neale, Hutchinson and Emil Riis.

Fulham U21s arrive as the Foxes’ first opponents in a group that also includes Walsall and Stevenage.

With only the opening fixture to be played, Leicester will be targeting a positive result to build early momentum in the competition.

Leicester City XI: Ravizzoli; Aluko, O’Hora, Okoli, Thomas; Braybrooke, Doyle, Alves; De Cordova-Reid (C), Watson, Bristrić.
