Tension at Leicester City! 😱: Leicester City boss Russell Martin was spotted exchanging words with his players on the training ground. You won’t believe the reason behind the confrontation!

Leicester City manager Russell Martin has warned his players that they risk being dropped from the starting line-up if they fail to fulfil their responsibilities on the pitch following the club’s disappointing 3-1 defeat to Peterborough United.

The Foxes endured a disastrous first half at the King Power Stadium, conceding three goals before the break.

Two costly defensive errors handed Peterborough the advantage, while Warren O’Hora’s unfortunate own goal made matters even worse for Martin’s struggling side.

The defeat leaves Leicester sitting 17th in League One after eight matches, just one point above the relegation zone.

With pressure mounting on the manager, the Foxes must quickly respond when Doncaster Rovers visit the King Power Stadium this weekend.

Martin was visibly frustrated by his team’s performance against Peterborough and made it clear that improvements are required, particularly in both penalty areas.

The Leicester boss believes his players must take greater responsibility and stop making costly mistakes.

“We hurt ourselves again by the manner and quality of goals we conceded,” he said.

“I said to the players, if a team has to work so hard for their goal, cuts us open and scores a brilliant goal, in football it happens sometimes, but the quality of goals we have conceded over the last few games is unacceptable.

The Leicester manager’s warning sends a clear message to his squad as he looks to restore confidence and improve results.

With another difficult fixture approaching, players who fail to meet his expectations could find themselves out of the team as Martin searches for a solution to the Foxes’ worrying form.
