BREAKING: Russell Martin has just confirmed that the new Foxes star has been withdrawn from today’s game! 😱 You won’t believe who he has left out of today’s squad!

Leicester City manager Russell Martin has addressed the situation surrounding striker Admir Bristric, who has been absent from the Foxes’ recent matchday squads.

The young forward has struggled to secure a place in the team in recent weeks, raising questions about his current position in Martin’s plans as Leicester continue their League One campaign.

Competition for places in the attacking department remains fierce, with the manager having several options available as he looks to find the right balance in his squad.

Bristric, who is still developing his game, faces the challenge of proving himself and convincing the coaching staff that he deserves more opportunities.

However, Martin believes there is no need to rush the striker’s progress, insisting that patience will be important at this stage of his career.

The Leicester boss also pointed towards the opportunity for Bristric to learn from fellow striker Emil Riis, whose experience could prove valuable as the youngster continues to adapt to the demands of senior football.

Martin acknowledged that being left out of the squad can be frustrating for a young player eager to make an impression, but stressed that Bristric must remain prepared for when his opportunity arrives.

‘He’s young, so there’s no rush. I’m sure it’s frustrating for him but he has to be ready. He can learn a lot from [Riis]. He just might need to be a bit patient’

The message is clear: Bristric must keep working hard and wait for his chance to impress.
