Leicester City’s injury woes continue to mount, with the foxes Star once again missing out, leaving the midfielder sidelined for eight of the club’s last 13 games — a stretch during which the Foxes have failed to claim a single victory.
James aggravated an existing injury during a fitness test last week, casting doubt over his availability for the upcoming clash with Swansea.

The Wales international initially picked up the knock while on international duty, and although Rowett had offered cautious optimism ahead of Friday’s fixture against Preston, James ultimately did not make the squad.
He was absent once more on Easter Monday as Leicester drew 1-1 at Sheffield Wednesday.
Gary Rowett provided clarity on the situation, explaining the setback: “JJ had a fitness test for the first game which made it seem like he wasn’t far away. By having a fitness test he’s maybe aggravated it a little bit.
It didn’t quite feel like he was close for this one. Aaron Ramsey didn’t make either game. Those sorts of players in these sorts of games, both goalscoring number eights that can come up with something out of nothing, of course we’re going to miss them.
But we’ve got enough players on the pitch to win the game. We’ve got enough players on the pitch to score more than one goal. That’s the expectation for those players.”
James’ continued absence highlights the growing challenge for Rowett as Leicester battles to climb out of the relegation zone.
The Foxes must now find ways to compensate for the loss of their creative spark, with Swansea looming as another crucial test in their survival fight.
