Unbelievable: Leicester City have begun investigating the Foxes star, and if he is found guilty, he will leave the club—this is the reason why they are investigating him.

Leicester City defender Caleb Okoli has emerged as a summer target for Torino, with the Serie A side understood to have begun “initial investigations” into a potential deal.

Okoli joined the Foxes from Atalanta in the summer of 2024 as part of a rebuild at the King Power Stadium. The 24-year-old has featured regularly since his arrival and remained with the club following their relegation to the Championship.

Leicester’s situation, however, has taken another worrying turn. With just five matches remaining, they sit 22nd in the table and are facing the very real prospect of a second successive relegation. They are currently only a point adrift of safety, though former Championship defender Erik Pieters has already warned the battle to survive will be a demanding one.

Torino are monitoring developments closely. According to Italian daily Tuttosport (via CuoreToro), the club have already made “initial investigations” as they look to strengthen their defence ahead of next season.

With Guillermo Maripan and Luca Marianucci both expected to depart, reinforcements will be required, and Okoli fits the profile. He is no stranger to Serie A, having made 34 appearances for Frosinone during the 2023/24 campaign.

Okoli remains under contract at Leicester until 2029, but should the Foxes slip into League One, his future may come under increasing scrutiny.
