David Moyes has admitted he would “love” to help save West Ham from relegation as Everton prepare for a dramatic final-day showdown against Roberto De Zerbi’s Tottenham Hotspur.
The former Hammers boss, who spent several successful years in east London and guided the club to Europa Conference League glory in 2023, returns to the spotlight this weekend with West Ham supporters desperately hoping Everton can do them a favour against Spurs.

Speaking ahead of the match, Moyes made it clear he still holds strong affection for his former club while insisting Everton’s priorities remain unchanged.
“I’d love to keep West Ham in the league if I can,” Moyes said before quickly adding that his main objective is securing the best possible finish for Everton this season.
The Scot’s comments came after Roberto De Zerbi urged Tottenham to show “blood, character and spirit” in their battle to avoid relegation.
Spurs only need a point to guarantee survival, while West Ham must beat Leeds and hope Everton can shock the north London side.
Sources close to Everton suggest Moyes has promised his players they will “fight until the final whistle” despite having little left to play for in the table.
That message has given West Ham fans fresh hope that their former manager could once again rescue the club from disaster.
For De Zerbi, however, defeat would complete one of the most shocking collapses in Tottenham’s modern history.
