West Ham star has failed to make any meaningful impact since arriving at West Ham during the January transfer window and now looks increasingly likely to depart the club.

The Brazilian forward made 14 Premier League appearances, registering just one assist. Between March and April, he was handed five consecutive starts, but struggled to influence games in any decisive manner.

This downturn followed a prolific spell in Portugal, where he scored 10 goals in 13 league matches during the first half of the campaign.

West Ham reportedly paid Gil Vicente €20m to secure his services, a fee that now appears questionable in light of the club’s relegation and his underwhelming form in England.

According to Il Messaggero, Lazio are monitoring the situation closely as they reshape their attack under Rino Gattuso.

The Italian side view Felipe as a potential option later in the window and have been offered the chance to sign him by super-agent Jorge Mendes. The 22-year-old is represented by Gestifute, ensuring strong interest across Europe.

Lazio had also tracked him in January, and their existing relationship with West Ham could help facilitate talks, with previous deals such as Taty Castellanos’ move to London highlighting cooperation between the clubs.

For now, Lazio’s priority remains Santiago Gimenez, though Felipe could re-emerge as an alternative.

Given the circumstances, West Ham may be forced to cut their losses. A difficult six-month spell is hardly enough to define a player’s quality, particularly one who has performed in top-flight football across multiple seasons.

However, a permanent move away from the Championship appears likely, especially with Mendes already exploring exit options.

An initial loan deal could also be considered, with his value still relatively strong following his January arrival, and a successful spell elsewhere—potentially at a club like Lazio—could help restore and even increase his market worth.
