Leicester City are expected to oversee a significant squad overhaul this summer as the club prepares for life outside the Premier League.
Following relegation, the focus at the King Power Stadium is firmly on balancing the books while building a squad capable of challenging for promotion.

Supporters have long accepted that several of the club’s most valuable assets will likely be sold. The key challenge for Leicester’s hierarchy is ensuring they secure the best possible fees, generating funds that can be reinvested wisely during a crucial rebuilding period.
Among the players attracting attention is Abdul Fatawu, whose performances during the 2025-26 Championship campaign enhanced his reputation considerably.
The Ghana international contributed nine goals and seven assists and remains one of Leicester’s most marketable assets.
Reports in Turkey suggest Besiktas are considering a move for the 22-year-old, with an offer of around €15 million believed to be under discussion.
However, that valuation has been widely criticised and is unlikely to tempt Leicester into negotiations.
A price of just €15m (£12.9m) is what Besiktas are reportedly willing to offer for Abdul Fatawu. A good World Cup will drive that fee up, even slightly.
But that figure should be rejected with no hesitation by Leicester City.
Fatawu is currently away with Ghana at the 2026 FIFA World Cup in North America. Strong performances on the international stage could further increase his value before any transfer decision is made later this summer.
