Leicester City’s front-of-shirt sponsorship has once again come under scrutiny after supporter groups Foxes Trust and Union FS issued a fresh joint statement expressing their concerns over the club’s continued partnership with BC Game.
The supporter organisations said they remain opposed to the sponsorship, arguing that it does not reflect the values many fans associate with Leicester City.
They also questioned the club’s decision to continue with the agreement, urging the Foxes hierarchy to consider the concerns raised by supporters and the wider football community.
The latest statement follows criticism that has been building since BC Game was first announced as Leicester’s principal shirt sponsor.
Foxes Trust has consistently argued that gambling sponsorships, particularly those linked to cryptocurrency gambling platforms, raise ethical concerns and risk sending the wrong message to younger supporters.

Union FS has also voiced its opposition, maintaining that the partnership is not in keeping with the club’s identity and community values.
The debate comes against the backdrop of wider changes across English football. Premier League clubs previously agreed to phase out front-of-shirt gambling sponsors from the start of the 2026/27 season following discussions with the UK government over gambling advertising in football.
Leicester City have not indicated that the current sponsorship agreement will be terminated, but the latest statement from Foxes Trust and Union FS ensures the issue remains firmly in the spotlight as supporters continue to call for a sponsor they believe better represents the values and traditions of the football club.
