Leicester City’s EFL squad for the 2026/27 season has now been confirmed following the summer transfer window, with Wout Faes and Woyo Coulibaly among the notable names included.

Both players had been available to leave the King Power Stadium before the transfer deadline, but neither departure materialised.

Their inclusion means Russell Martin can call upon them during Leicester’s League One campaign, providing the manager with two more experienced options as he looks to turn the club’s difficult start around.

Leicester have registered just 15 senior players, with the club able to benefit from the EFL rules allowing under-21 players to be selected without taking up a senior squad place.

The complete senior EFL squad is: Sammy Braybrooke, Admir Bristrić, Wes Burns, Conor Chaplin, Woyo Coulibaly, Liam Cullen, Wout Faes, Emil Riis, John Lundstram, Ben Nelson, Warren O’Hora, Bobby De Cordova-Reid, Caleb Okoli, Harry Souttar and Luke Thomas.

That leaves Martin with a blend of youth and experience, while several younger players remain available without senior registration. Leicester’s official squad numbers also confirm Faes as No.3 and Coulibaly as No.26.

With Leicester currently struggling for consistency in League One, the decision to retain both players could prove significant as Martin attempts to steady the Foxes’ season.
