He is right 😡😡😡: Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall breaks his silence as he slams the Foxes owner and makes this unbelievable comment on the club’s relegation.

Leicester City’s second successive relegation has inevitably drawn comparisons with the collapse of 2022-23, and in many ways the similarities are difficult to ignore.

Just as it did three years ago, a squad packed with talent and carrying one of the highest wage bills in the division has fallen dramatically short of expectations. Then, as now, there was a sense that a side built to challenge at the top had somehow lost its way completely.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall spoke candidly about that painful campaign during an appearance on Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football.

“It was such a tough time, the hardest time of my career so far,” Dewsbury-Hall said. “We went into the season aiming for Europe, we’d finished eighth the year before.

“When we were in a situation where we were fighting relegation with the team we had, it was almost like: ‘What’s going on?’

“For me, it was even harder because I was an academy graduate and I was playing for my boyhood club. It meant a little bit more to me. It was so hard to deal with.

“That’s why when we did get relegated I wanted to stay at the club and help them try to get back to where they were. I didn’t want to leave on a bad note. It just gave me that motivation to try to help me again.”

He backed those words with action, driving Leicester back to the Premier League. The concern now is whether anyone in the current dressing room can summon that same determination, leadership and emotional connection when the club needs it most.
