Leicester City supporters have barely had time to catch their breath since the Championship season ended, yet the headlines continue to arrive at pace.
Transfer rumours are already beginning to swirl around the King Power Stadium, while reports linking Darren Ferguson with the managerial vacancy have only added to the uncertainty surrounding Gary Rowett’s future.

Players, meanwhile, have started posting their customary end-of-season farewells on social media. Jordan James’ emotional message struck a chord with supporters and served as another reminder of why he became such a popular figure during his short spell at the club.
In truth, Leicester would love to keep hold of the former Birmingham City midfielder. James delivered 11 goals and four assists in league action despite the club’s relegation struggles, but Rennes are expected to cash in this summer amid growing interest from elsewhere.
What impressed many supporters most, however, was his humility. Signing off on Instagram, the 21-year-old described Leicester as an “amazing club and fanbase and I wish you nothing but the best for the future.”
The same cannot be said for Victor Kristiansen.
The Danish defender appears desperate to distance himself from Leicester following relegation to League One. Speaking to journalist Oscar Valdorff Kjeldsen, Kristiansen bluntly admitted: “I didn’t sign with Leicester to be a League One player.”
Those comments are unlikely to go down well with supporters, especially given the left-back’s disappointing and injury-hit spell at the club.
