David Moyes has admitted he would take great satisfaction in helping former club West Ham United avoid relegation when Everton travel to Tottenham on the final day of the Premier League season.
West Ham host Leeds United at the London Stadium on Sunday afternoon, while Spurs welcome Everton in a match that could have huge consequences at the bottom of the table.
The Hammers know their survival hopes may depend not only on beating Leeds, but also on Moyes doing them a favour in north London.

Despite Everton’s slim hopes of securing a European place, the Toffees boss insisted his side would not simply roll over against Tottenham.
Moyes remains a hugely respected figure among many West Ham supporters after guiding the club to Europa Conference League glory during his time in east London. His departure remains a divisive topic, particularly given the struggles of the managers brought in since.
Speaking ahead of Everton’s trip to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Moyes made no secret of where his loyalties still lie.
Moyes said: “I would love to help keep West Ham in the league if I can do.”
Everton’s away form could hand the Hammers genuine hope. The Toffees currently boast one of the strongest away records in the division, while Tottenham’s poor form at home has dragged them into the relegation battle.
With survival on the line, it promises to be a tense and dramatic afternoon for both clubs.
