Leicester City have confirmed their retained and released list following the end of the campaign, with several senior players now set to leave the club this summer.

The Foxes announced that both Jordan Ayew and Patson Daka will depart after their contracts came to an end, bringing an end to their respective spells at the King Power Stadium.

Leicester also confirmed that Jamaal Lascelles will leave the club and will not be offered a new deal ahead of next season.

A number of loan players will also head back to their parent clubs after temporary stays in the Midlands. Joe Aribo, Taylor Richards, Mukasa and JJ are all returning after their loan agreements officially expired this week.

The club’s academy and development ranks have also seen further changes, with Wanya among those released by Leicester. Youngster Popov has also been informed that he will not be retained as the club continue reshaping the squad ahead of the new campaign.

Leicester’s announcement marks the beginning of what is expected to be a major summer rebuild, with more arrivals and departures anticipated over the coming weeks.

The club are keen to refresh the squad and lower the wage bill as preparations begin for a crucial season ahead.
