A former Premier League striker has aimed a fresh dig at Graham Potter while opening up on the breakdown of his time at the club.
The forward revealed he was offered a new contract but was told he would not be involved with the senior squad, a decision that left him furious and convinced there was no future for him under Potter.

He also claimed he received conflicting explanations over who made the call, with both the manager and chairman shifting responsibility behind the scenes.
Speaking candidly about the situation, Antonio said: “They offered me a contract, said I’m not allowed to play first-team, only under-21s. Why would I sign?
I went to him, he’d be like, “It’s not me, it’s the chairman”, but I’d go to the chairman and he’d say, “It’s Potter, he doesn’t want you”. I knew it was Graham.”
The comments have already sparked debate among supporters, with many questioning how the situation was handled and whether the striker was unfairly pushed aside.
Antonio’s frustration is clear, particularly after feeling frozen out despite believing he still had plenty to offer at senior level.
His remarks also paint a chaotic picture behind the scenes, where communication between manager and board appeared far from united.
The forward has never been shy about speaking his mind, and this latest revelation is unlikely to go unnoticed.
