There is no hiding from the mess Leicester City find themselves in, according to Marc Albrighton, who believes every part of the club must accept responsibility for a dramatic fall that could yet end in relegation to League One.
The former winger, a key figure in Leicester’s unforgettable Premier League title-winning side of 2016, spoke candidly about the club’s decline and admitted the situation has been painful for everyone connected with the Foxes.

Once regarded as one of English football’s great success stories, Leicester are now staring at the possibility of a second relegation in three seasons.
Albrighton made it clear that blame cannot simply be placed on one manager, player or decision-maker. Instead, he insists the problems run much deeper throughout the football club.
“Everyone has to take responsibility,” he said. “When things go wrong to this extent, it’s not down to one person. The players, staff, owners — everybody involved has played a part in where Leicester are now.”
The club’s supporters have endured a miserable campaign filled with inconsistency, poor performances and growing frustration off the pitch.
For many fans, the current crisis is difficult to comprehend given Leicester’s remarkable rise over the last decade.
Albrighton also admitted it hurts seeing the club he helped bring glory to now fighting to avoid one of the darkest moments in its modern history.
