West Ham United appear to have failed in their bid to retain highly rated academy prospect Emmanuel Fejokwu, with the teenager now reportedly set to explore options away from the London Stadium.
The 16-year-old has been one of the most highly regarded talents in West Ham’s Academy of Football, impressing consistently across youth levels.

Capable of operating at right-back or centre-back, Fejokwu has progressed through the club’s system and attracted attention with his performances.
Eligible to represent both England and the Netherlands, he has already been capped at Under-15 and Under-16 level for both nations.
Interest in the defender has grown across Europe, with several top clubs monitoring his development closely in recent months.
He is now expected to assess his future this summer amid growing attention from abroad.
As a Dutch passport holder, regulations permit him to move overseas at 16, opening the door to a potential exit.
Reports in late 2025 suggested Ajax, PSV, Utrecht, Club Brugge, Copenhagen, Bayer Leverkusen, Inter and AC Milan were among admirers.
A fresh update now indicates Fejokwu has indeed left West Ham, with multiple European sides still tracking him.
During the 2025-26 campaign, he made 13 Under-18 Premier League appearances, scoring once in 835 minutes of action.
He also featured in FA Youth Cup ties and for the Under-21s in international competition.
