Leicester City have confirmed a late change of venue for Saturday’s pre-season friendly against Málaga CF, with the match now set to be played at Banús Football Center in Marbella instead of the originally planned Estadio Nuevo Mirador in Algeciras.
Kick-off remains unchanged at 7pm local time (6pm UK time), while supporters unable to travel can still watch the game live on Foxes Hub.
Fans who purchased tickets for the original venue will automatically receive a full refund through their original payment method.
However, those still planning to attend the fixture in Marbella must purchase new tickets, as previously issued tickets will no longer be valid.
The club acknowledged the disruption caused by the late alteration, explaining that every effort had been made alongside Málaga CF and the match organisers to avoid the need for new ticket arrangements.
“We are sorry that, despite extensive work with Málaga CF and the organisers, it has not been possible to find a solution that would enable tickets already purchased for the original venue to remain valid.
We recognise the additional inconvenience this causes supporters who have already made arrangements to attend the game and apologise for the short notice.”

The fixture had initially been scheduled to take place at Estadio Nuevo Mirador, the same ground where Leicester faced Cádiz CF earlier this week.
After that encounter, both clubs expressed concerns over the condition of the pitch, prompting discussions over a safer alternative.
With player welfare and preparations for the new Championship season taking priority, Leicester, Málaga CF and the organisers agreed to move the fixture to Banús Football Center.
The switch ensures the match can go ahead under improved conditions while still allowing travelling supporters in Spain to watch the Foxes in action. Further ticket, travel and matchday information has been made available by the club.
