JUST IN 🚨😱: Leicester City’s Possible Carabao Cup Opponents Have Been Revealed — You Won’t Believe Who They Could Face! 💙🔥

Leicester City are through to the Carabao Cup second-round draw after securing a 1-0 victory over Northampton Town at the King Power Stadium on Saturday.

Caleb Okoli’s deflected header proved decisive in Russell Martin’s first competitive match as Leicester head coach, giving the Foxes a winning start to their campaign and putting them into the hat for the next round.

The second-round draw will take place on Monday evening at approximately 7:20pm BST, with Leicester among the teams waiting to discover their next opponents.

The Foxes have been handed ball number 11 in the southern section of the draw. The opening two rounds are regionalised, meaning Leicester will face one of the teams included in the southern group.

The possible opponents include AFC Wimbledon, Birmingham City, Brentford, Cambridge United, Cardiff City, Charlton Athletic, Chelsea, Coventry City, Fulham, Ipswich Town, Leyton Orient, Luton Town, Millwall, Norwich City, Peterborough United, Reading, Southampton, Stevenage, Tottenham Hotspur, Walsall, Watford and West Ham United.

Plymouth Argyle or Exeter City will also be involved, depending on the outcome of their first-round tie.

Second-round fixtures are scheduled to be played during the week commencing 24 August.

That means Leicester’s next Carabao Cup test will come between their League One fixtures against Burton Albion at home and MK Dons away.
