AdminUnai Emery was left visibly fuming during an intense Aston Villa training session this week after Alejandro Garnacho produced an unbelievable miss, sparking immediate reactions across the football world.
The Argentine winger, who joined Villa on loan with a high-profile option to buy, tore through the defence in a sharp tactical drill only to drag a routine 1-on-1 chance hopelessly wide.
The glaring error triggered an instant response online, with fans pleading: “Garnacho brother please act normal so they can activate your buy clause🙏😭 How do you miss that???”
Emery immediately blew his whistle, halting the session to deliver a characteristically passionate touchline dressing-down.
“In these positions, talent gets you there, but focus puts the ball in the net! We cannot waste these moments—when you have the target in sight, you must execute with zero hesitation!”
The Spaniard’s uncompromising standards mean flashy footwork won’t be enough to secure a permanent move to B6.
While Garnacho undoubtedly possesses the raw pace to turn matches, Emery demands absolute ruthlessness in front of goal. If the young forward wants Villa to trigger that lucrative transfer clause come summer, he’ll need to sharpen up his finishing—and fast.
