Stephy Mavididi has completed his move away from Leicester City after joining his new club on a season-long loan.
The winger becomes the latest addition to his new side, with the deal providing him with an opportunity to enjoy regular first-team football and make a strong impression during the 2026/27 campaign.
The move brings an end, at least temporarily, to Mavididi’s time with Leicester, where he has experienced both promising moments and difficult spells since arriving at the club. Now, the 27-year-old will be hoping a fresh environment can help him rediscover his best form.
His new club officially welcomed the winger with the message:
“Stephy Mavididi ✍️
A big welcome to our new winger, who joins on a season-long loan from Leicester City.”

Mavididi brings considerable experience and attacking quality to his new team. His pace, direct running and ability to operate in wide areas could make him an important player throughout the season.
For Leicester, the loan allows Mavididi to continue his development and gain valuable minutes away from the King Power Stadium. The Foxes will be keeping a close eye on his progress before considering what comes next for the player.
For Mavididi, however, the focus will now be on making an immediate impact, helping his new team achieve its ambitions and reminding Leicester supporters of the qualities that made him an important attacking option in the first place.
A new chapter begins.
