🚨😱 BOMBSHELL: Jarrod Bowen will be LAUGHING his head off at the latest England World Cup situation — this could be the BIGGEST twist yet! 🔥😂

Jarrod Bowen’s hopes of returning to the England squad have suffered another setback, with the West Ham United captain once again overlooked despite his impressive form.

The 29-year-old has earned 22 senior caps for the Three Lions, but his last appearance came in March during a friendly against Japan.

He was subsequently left out of Thomas Tuchel’s World Cup squad and has not featured in the manager’s plans since.

Even a number of withdrawals from the current England squad failed to create an opening for Bowen, underlining how difficult his route back into the international set-up has become.

Tuchel previously addressed Bowen’s omission in May, questioning whether West Ham’s situation was affecting his chances.

“Does Jarrod suffer a bit from the situation at his club?

“It is difficult for him. Do Noni [Madueke] and Bukayo [Saka] profit from the situation of their club?”

Tuchel also praised Bowen’s “outstanding” character, but his comments appeared to suggest that the winger’s club situation was working against him.

Bowen has continued to deliver for West Ham, scoring four goals and registering three assists in eight Championship appearances this season.

With five England players withdrawing on Monday, including Cole Palmer, Marcus Rashford and Declan Rice, Bowen was still overlooked.

For now, his best response is to keep producing for the Hammers and help drive their promotion push. If West Ham return to the Premier League, Bowen’s England prospects could change significantly.
