I am not leaving 😱😱😱: The Foxes’ fan-favourite player has made this unbelievable announcement about his future at the club, surprising everyone—this is the decision he has made.

Loan moves rarely sit in the middle ground. They tend to veer towards chaos or anonymity, and in Leicester City’s case this season, both extremes have been on show.

Take Jordan James. The Rennes loanee has built a reputation as one of the more complete midfielders in the Championship, drawing comparisons to a young Steven Gerrard with his energy and authority between both boxes.

While he is not yet operating at that elite level, there is a growing sense that the Wales international is destined for the Premier League, or perhaps another of Europe’s top divisions.

He has already shown he can cope with the demands of Ligue 1, and at Leicester he delivered flashes of genuine quality, even within a struggling side. His ceiling appears high, and his departure now feels inevitable.

By contrast, Joe Aribo’s spell has been far less convincing. Once a technically fluid presence shaped by South London’s cage football culture, the 29-year-old has looked out of place. Whether through mismanagement or poor recruitment, he never settled into a defined role.

A lack of tactical clarity only deepened the issue, leaving observers questioning how a player of his ability could appear so ineffective.

Now, with decisions made, James is set to move on to bigger opportunities, while Aribo’s time at the King Power Stadium comes to a quiet and unsurprising end.
