Louis Page has outlined his ambitions for the season, insisting he is determined to establish himself as a regular starter in Russell Martin’s Leicester City side.
The academy graduate has continued to impress during pre-season as he looks to make the step from promising youngster to first-team fixture.
With competition for places increasing across the squad, Page knows consistent performances will be needed if he is to earn the manager’s trust once the campaign gets underway.
The midfielder has featured in a variety of roles throughout his development and believes that versatility could work in his favour.
Comfortable operating as either a holding midfielder or in a more advanced central position, he is prepared to play wherever he is needed to help the team.
Page has made it clear that his priority is earning minutes rather than focusing on a specific role. His attitude reflects the desire of a young player eager to prove he belongs at senior level and contribute to Leicester’s ambitions over the course of the season.

Speaking about his goals, Page said: ‘I want to become a main player in this team and start all the games I can.’
He also underlined his willingness to adapt to the manager’s tactical demands, adding: ‘With the academies, I’ve played as a six and an eight. Either or, really. Wherever the manager puts me, I’m happy to play in either one.’
With pre-season continuing, Page will hope his determination and flexibility are enough to secure a prominent role in Martin’s plans for the new campaign.
