JUST IN 🚨🚨: Khun Top has made his final decision on the sale of Leicester City — this is the decision he made, and he says it’s final.

Leicester City chairman Aiyawatt “Khun Top” Srivaddhanaprabha has delivered the clearest indication yet that the club is not up for sale, despite growing unrest among supporters following another disastrous campaign.

The Foxes have now suffered three relegations in the space of four years, a decline that has left many fans furious with the direction of the club.

Frustration has continued to grow both on and off the pitch, with repeated calls for major changes behind the scenes, including demands for director of football Jon Rudkin to step down.

Questions have also been raised about the long-term intentions of the ownership group. However, recent events appear to have eased some of those fears.

Following Leicester’s relegation to League One, Khun Top reportedly met with unhappy supporters to discuss the current state of the club and explain the plans moving forward. The message from those discussions strongly suggested the Srivaddhanaprabha family remain committed to Leicester City and are determined to oversee the rebuilding process themselves.

Khun Top has maintained a close emotional attachment to the club since the death of his father, former chairman Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, who tragically lost his life in the helicopter crash outside the King Power Stadium in 2018.

According to talkSPORT, there has been interest from potential buyers in recent years, but all approaches were turned away.

«“It’s been suggested to talkSPORT that at least two interested parties have made enquiries about the club’s availability in recent years, but those approaches have either been rebuffed or ignored.”»

For many supporters, that is the strongest sign yet that the current owners have no plans to walk away despite Leicester’s recent collapse.
