Jarrod Bowen has insisted he has no plans to leave West Ham United this summer despite the club’s relegation to the Championship.
The Hammers captain spoke honestly after Sunday’s final-day victory over Leeds United failed to preserve their Premier League status.

West Ham did their part with an impressive 3-0 win at the London Stadium, but Tottenham Hotspur’s narrow victory over Everton ultimately condemned Nuno Espirito Santo’s side to the drop.
Relegation has already sparked speculation surrounding the futures of several key players, with Mateus Fernandes, Crysencio Summerville and El Hadji Malick Diouf all attracting interest from Premier League clubs ahead of the transfer window.
Bowen has also been linked with a move away, with Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United reportedly monitoring the England international following West Ham’s fall into the second tier.
However, the 29-year-old has made it clear that his focus remains on helping the club return to the Premier League at the first attempt.
Speaking to Sky Sports after relegation was confirmed, Bowen said: “Ultimately, this season we haven’t been good enough and we’ve paid the price.
“I’m under contract here. I’ve been here for six-and-a-half years.
“There’s going to be rumours, there’s going to be talk. Ultimately, what I see is getting this club back in the Premier League because that is where it deserves to be.”
Bowen finished the campaign with nine goals and 11 assists in 38 league appearances.
