Concern continues to grow among Leicester City supporters as the club enters a crucial summer with major questions still unanswered both on and off the pitch.
One of the most pressing issues facing the Foxes is the lack of a recognised senior striker. Following recent departures, Leicester currently find themselves without an experienced centre-forward, leaving a significant gap in the squad ahead of the new campaign.

Youngster Jake Evans is viewed as a promising prospect and could be handed greater responsibility, but the academy graduate remains largely untested at senior level. For a club aiming to rebuild and challenge near the top of the Championship, relying heavily on youth carries obvious risks.
Uncertainty also surrounds the managerial position. Leicester have yet to appoint a new head coach, with no clear frontrunner emerging for the vacancy. The absence of progress has only increased frustration among supporters, who are eager to see a clear plan put in place under chairman Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha and director of football Jon Rudkin.
Many fans would welcome a return for Jamie Vardy, but such a move appears highly unlikely. Wage demands, reported interest from Sheffield Wednesday and speculation of a strained relationship with Rudkin have all but ruled out a reunion.
Speaking recently about his departure, Vardy admitted:
“It was nothing to do with me against the club [or the] club against me, I [just] weren’t happy, just not happy.”
Those words suggest the chapter may finally be closed on one of Leicester City’s greatest-ever players.
