Caleb Okoli’s future at Leicester City appears increasingly uncertain after his agent admitted the defender is attracting interest from several clubs this summer.
The 24-year-old centre-back, who joined the Foxes from Atalanta on a five-year contract in 2024, has been linked with a return to Italy, with Monza among the clubs credited with an interest in securing his signature.
Speaking to Tutto Mercato, Okoli’s representative Alessandro Barison confirmed discussions are ongoing as both player and club consider the next step.
“We’re waiting for Leicester. We’ve already received inquiries and offers.
“We need to figure out the best path for him together with the club. We’re evaluating.”
Barison also acknowledged that while the Italian is settled at the King Power Stadium, he is eager to compete at a higher level following Leicester’s relegation to League One.
“Caleb is happy at Leicester, but I can’t deny that he’d like to play in a higher league,” he added.
“And Leicester understands his ambition, they know he deserves a different path, and they could let him go.”
With interest continuing to grow, a move away from the Foxes cannot be ruled out before the transfer window closes.

“Without naming any teams, I can say we’re looking for a project like this that could give Caleb the chance to return to the level he deserves,” said Barison.
“Of course, we need to make sure the offers satisfy Leicester, who have invested in him anyway.”
