Bombshell 😱😱: Ezri Konsa has made his final decision about his future at Aston Villa. This is the decision he made.

Ezri Konsa has reportedly made his feelings clear on a potential move to Arsenal, despite Aston Villa demanding twice the amount of the Gunners’ initial offer for the England defender.

Arsenal are keen to strengthen their defence following William Saliba’s injury, with Mikel Arteta identifying Konsa as a possible solution.

However, negotiations have hit a major stumbling block, with Villa rejecting an opening £30 million proposal.

Unai Emery’s side are understood to value Konsa at around £60m, effectively doubling Arsenal’s initial offer and creating a significant gap between the two clubs’ valuations.

Despite the disagreement, Konsa is reportedly ‘open’ to joining Arsenal and sees a move to the Emirates as an attractive opportunity to take another major step in his career.

The defender, however, remains respectful towards Villa and has no desire to damage his relationship with the club.

Arteta has made it clear that Arsenal remain determined to improve their squad this summer, particularly by adding quality and depth.

Speaking after Arsenal’s pre-season draw with Como, Arteta said: “There is more that we want to do because every time we have an opportunity to improve the squad and bring more quality and depth to the squad, we need to do that,” Arteta said. “We are actively trying to do so.

The thing in the market, it doesn’t just depend on you, and we are very clear on that. But the approach, the will and the desire of the club, that’s unquestionable, and we want to try to do that.”
