🚨 BREAKING: Leicester City Have Just Held an Emergency Meeting Over Russell Martin’s Future at the Club! 😱 This Is the Decision They Made Following the Meeting! 👀🔥

Leicester City manager Russell Martin is reportedly in ‘serious danger’ of losing his job following Saturday’s humiliating 3-1 defeat to Peterborough United at the King Power Stadium.

The Foxes endured a disastrous first half, conceding three goals before the break. Emil Riis pulled one back, but Leicester failed to mount a comeback, leaving supporters furious with another disappointing performance.

According to talkSPORT, Martin’s position is now under serious threat, with growing frustration over the team’s results and playing style.

The 40-year-old signed a contract until 2029 when he arrived, but his difficult start has increased pressure on the former Southampton boss.

Leicester have managed just two wins from eight League One matches, collecting nine points and sitting 17th in the table, only one point above the relegation zone.

Following the defeat, Martin was questioned about the supporters’ chants calling for his departure.

As quoted by Leicestershire Live, he said: “I can’t criticise them because they’ve seen another defeat and the goals we concede,” he said when asked about the chants by supporters.

“I’m as frustrated as any of them, but if you think changing a manager is a quick fix, then I’m not sure that’s ever the way. But we have to keep working, it’s as simple as that.

“So the chants are what they are, it is what it is. We have to keep our heads down, work really hard and I have to accept that, the personal stuff, because I’m in charge of the team. It’s my responsibility.”

Martin remains determined to implement his philosophy, but Leicester must improve quickly. Saturday’s clash against Doncaster Rovers could prove crucial, with another poor display likely to intensify calls for change.
